The VIESA Vehicle Climate Control System was initially developed for drivers who operate long haul trips. It allows the driver to sleep or rest in the cabin during the hotter months without the need to idle the engine.
Now, VIESA is being used by drivers of many vehicles. The system works so well in certain climates that it can operate all day, with the engine running or not, to keep the driver and passengers cool. It is a true "Idle-Reduction" technology product.

The VIESA system is an Evaporative Cooling System, which uses water as its coolant, to control the climate inside of a vehicle. A water tank is mounted on the vehicle and inside of the tank is a pump. Water is pumped up the lines to the top of the vehicle. The unit with a high speed bi-turbo fan sits on top of the vehicle. Inside the vehicle, a ventilation and control system is mounted. This unit provides full functions (see list below) as well as individualized air vents for driver and companion.
VIESA Intelligent Plus has an 8-speed fan to accommodate various needs. It is equipped with a built-in alarm clock, language selection, driver and companion reading lamps and a remote control. The full-function remote control allows operation from the seat or bunk with ease.
